Violating Sanctions
An American Woman’s Listening Tour Through the Axis of Evil
Interview on KPFK Pacifica Radio
On Monday, March 17, Emmy-Award winner Lila Garrett aired her interview with me on her popular radio show, “Connect the Dots,” on Pacifica Radio’s KPFK about US military activities in the Philippines and Guam.
Click here to hear the 20-minute interview, which aired in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. I am the second guest, minutes 28 through 45. Lila named me her Grassroots Hero of the Week, but that honor really belongs to the women and men who are fighting every day to regain their families and countries. I was honored to meet them.

Its’ only noe that I was able to hear the KPFK Interview Kelly and I am overwhelmed with mixed emotions. Happy for knowing someone like you who take courage and compassion for us Filipinos to bring back an unbiased information about the Phillippines not just as a land of environmental advantage but also the people oppressed by foreign intervention and economic monopoly. Trying to maintain a facade of diplomatic allegiance to the empire but actually were collared to be submissive for some economic benefits while the elite political dynasties are grabbing right infront of the famished ordinary peoples’table!
Sad to say, natural resources are abundant but they are owned nonetheless by a few elite families whose holding the political power too!@#@#$&%$%! Yeah theres’ brain drain existing here but this is due to the controlled economic opportunities which caters only to the minority. And what could be a better remedy than to seek uncertain opportunities abroad than to die unfulfilled and with shattered aspirations here? Know what Kelly, I think were lucky to have you observed actual country situation coz I believe your a person moved with compassion and sincerity not only with your work but also with the people you deal with!
More power and God bless your work! I’ll be happy to received updates from you from time to time. Good luck on your next trip to Jordan. Hope I could be a volunteer like you too..If God opens up opportunities for me in the future.
Miss you my Friend!
